Fans and followers of The Flash were recently rewarded with a brand new trailer for the eponymous film featuring both Micheal Keaton and Ben Affleck as Batman. The teaser also showed a pair of Barry Allens and General Zod in addition to a brief appearance by Kara Zor-El, also known as Supergirl.
"Worlds collide in The Flash when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time in order to change the events of the past," the official description for the trailer describes. "But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to. That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian, albeit not the one he’s looking for.”

The Flash is currently scheduled to be released on June 16, 2023. The film is directed by Andrew Muschietti with Ezra Miller in the role of Barry Allen. The cast also includes Sasha Calle, Michael Shannon, Ron Livingston, Maribel Verdú, Kiersey Clemons, Antje Traue, and Michael Keaton.
Production has already met with several challenges including repeated delays resulting from changes to both cast and crew. The person playing The Flash, Ezra Miller, has additionally been facing legal issues in the wake of assault charges, having allegedly thrown a chair at a woman. Miller has come under intense public scrutiny as well over allegations of grooming minors in Hawaii, Massachusetts, and North Dakota.
