A new piece of Batman art inspired by Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy imagines another sequel focusing on Heath Ledger’s Joker. Before Ben Affleck joined the DCEU as the Caped Crusader in Zack Snyder’s Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Warner Bros. cast Christian Bale for a standalone trilogy. The end of Batman Beginsin 2005 set up the Joker for the sequel, a role that earned Ledger a posthumous Oscar.
