It was announced quite a while ago that A Plague Tale: Requiem would launch at some point in 2022, and publisher Focus Home Entertainment really made us wait for a release date. In a special showcase that gave us an extended gameplay demonstration, it was finally announced that the game will launch on October 18 later this year for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X. I know what I'm playing this spooky season.
While Sony's rollout of the new PlayStation Plus subscription has been seen as generally positive, the company has been getting a lot of flack for seemingly forcing users outside of the US to deal with inferior 50hz PAL versions of certain PS1 games rather than the superior NTSC versions. However, Sony has now announced that NTSC options are in the works and will be rolled out worldwide eventually, although refrained from providing a date.
