We heard all about some big stories today. While there wasn’t much holding them all together, there were nevertheless a bunch of big events. Players for example found out that Techland is going to be fixing all of their least favorite bugs in Dying Light 2. They also learned that PlatinumGames will be shifting its focus from “one off, well designed” experiences to games which “can be enjoyed and loved for a longer period of time.” Oh, by the way, somebody got Wordle running on a Game Boy.

Techland released Dying Light 2 earlier this week to somewhat less than favorable reviews. But this hasn’t stopped players from diving into the game. While they seem to be having fun on the whole, many players have been encountering bugs. Lots of bugs. “Hello, Survivors! We have implemented some hotfixes over the weekend and will be continuing to add more in the coming days,” Techland pointed out. “Thank you for your incredible support and patience.” The company went on to reveal a very long list of upcoming fixes. Looks like we’ll finally be able to kill those unkillable enemies.
Wordle has become an incredible success over the course of these past few months. While pretty much nobody had even heard of the game last year, you can’t go a single day at this point without seeing someone post their score on social media. Well, now you can even play it on a GameBoy. Somebody going by the name of Ghidraninja has apparently pulled off this little feat of engineering. But it comes with a small catch. “I couldn't fit in a big wordlist of 'real' words,” they said. “Instead, I'm using a bloom filter to check whether an entered word is one of the 8,000 most common English words.” Oh, well.
