This probably won't come as too much of a surprise to most of you, but we now have official confirmation that The Batman 2 is currently in the works, with Robert Pattinson reprising his roled as the caped crusader. Warner Bros. Motion Picture Group Boss Toby Emmerich announced the news during a presentation at CinemaCon in Las Vegas alongside director Matt Reeves who will also be returning to direct the sequel.

Some newly released concept art reveals a completely different design for Colin Farrell's interpretation of The Penguin in The Batman. Writer and director Matt Reeves’ reboot, The Batman, released in theaters on March 4th, introducing audiences to Robert Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne, aka “vengeance.” The film follows its titular vigilante in his second year as the Caped Crusader as he tracks down a mysterious serial killer in the Riddler (Paul Dano).
