Sony has announced the full line up of April 2023’s free PlayStation Plus monthly games. This includes the previously confirmed Meet Your Maker, but what else can PS Plus subscribers look forward to playing on their PS5 and PS4 next month?

As was confirmed earlier this month, Meet Your Maker is a day 1 release into PS Plus as one of April’s monthly games. It’s the latest title from Dead By Daylight developer Behaviour Interactive, and is another asymmetrical, somewhat experimental multiplayer game.
All players can engage with two sides of Meet Your Maker, tasked on the one hand with building challenging mazes filled with traps, AI defenders and more, and then with invading the mazes of other players as a Raider, trying to defeat all the obstacles in front of you. In both cases – whether its successfully defending your own base or besting the challenge of another player’s, you’ll collect resources to further your own progression.
Sackboy: A Big Adventure is a great family game, and was a cross-gen launch title for the PS5, taking the popular LittleBigPlanet series and making a more pure 3D platformer out of it. There’s a real focus on multiplayer through the open level design and wider camera angle, and with some wonderfully fun and inventive, it earnt a solid 7/10 in our Sackboy: A Big Adventure review. I wrote:
“Sackboy: A Big Adventure starts off slow, feeling like a hollow reflection of the franchise, but eventually grows into its new 3D platforming elements. It’s at its best when it blends the new with the old, when there’s power-ups, side-scrolling and a meaningful challenge, but it takes a bit too long to get it together.”
