The upcoming Texas Chain Saw Massacre video game, created by Friday the 13th: The Game developer Gun Media, will put a new spin on asymmetric multiplayer survival. The terrifying game will pay tribute to the iconic horror franchise and its grotesque mascot Leatherface as he hunts down hapless survivors. While not much is known about Gun Media' Texas Chain Saw Massacre game, the title is said to be an asymmetrical survival experience similar to Friday the 13th: The Game. That title pits a group of eight campers against the unstoppable Jason Voorhees, with maps set around the iconic Camp Crystal Lake. The survivors must work together to complete tasks, such as starting a car or calling the police, in order to escape the camp alive. Meanwhile, the player controlling Jason has access to various supernatural powers which allow them to butcher the survivors and thwart their escape. While Friday the 13th's Kane Hodder will appear in The Texas Chain Saw Massacreas the slasher icon Leatherface, survivors will have more than one enemy to deal with in Gun Media's next project.
