There's a big list of PSVR2 launch titles and PS5 updates for early adopters of the VR headset to play on launch day, and you can see them all in our All PSVR2 Launch Games guide. But what's there to look out for after 22nd February 2023? While Sony hasn't really revealed much beyond the launch window, there's the triple whammy of The Dark Pictures: Switchback VR and The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners Chapters 1 and 2.
The former is out on 16th March 2023, and today a new video featuring a developer interview and new gameplay has been published. The on-rails experience places you in the front seat of a rollercoaster that just so happens to take you through some of the scariest scenes and scenarios from the Dark Pictures universe, and you've got a handful of guns to defend yourself with.
What looks particularly impressive is a section of track where a load of mannequins sync up with PSVR2's eye-tracking feature and move every time you blink. Haptic feedback in the headset will also be supported, simulating wind and other feelings.
While this is a spiritual successor to Until Dawn: Rush of Blood, it fits into the world of The Dark Pictures as a spin-off, with The Curator making an appearance. Will you be playing Switchback VR next month? Let us know in the comments below.
