Geoff Keighley has announced details of this year’s Summer Game Fest event.
The Game Awards founder will host “a live cross-industry showcase” on Thursday, June 9 at 11am PT / 2pm ET / 6pm BST.
It promises to showcase “what’s next in gaming with huge new game announcements, world premieres, special guests, and much more”.
iam8bit and Double Fine will also present indie games showcase Day of the Devs.

Keighley also announced a partnership with IMAX that will let people watch Summer Game Fest and this December’s The Game Awards in select IMAX cinemas.
He tweeted: “With #SummerGameFest we are building a next-generation global event — decentralized physical events for the community in IMAX, big showcases from us + partners, play at home content, and much more!
“This is the future and it feels good….we are just getting started!”
The Summer Games Fest showcase will take place three days before the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase.
The E3-style event was announced last week and is set to be held on Sunday, June 12 at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST, with news on “titles coming from Xbox Game Studios, Bethesda, and our partners around the world”.
