Madden NFL 23 is most popular in Louisiana, according to a recent study. Online gaming site Minesweeper-Challenge has analyzed Google Trends data for the last 12 months using phrases like "Madden 23" and "Madden 23 release date" to determine the 10 states that have the most interest Madden NFL 23.
As previously mentioned, Louisiana is the state with the most interest in Madden NFL 23, with Minesweeper-Challenge noting that the New Orleans Saints in the game have an 83 team rating and top-rated safety Tyrann Mathieu, who has an overall rating of 94. Louisiana is followed by Delaware, Alabama, Ohio, Mississippi, Maryland, West Virginia, North Dakota, Wisconsin, and Iowa. What's interesting about these results is that multiple of the states in the list don't have an NFL team at all. In fact, this includes most of the states on the list, as Delaware, Alabama, Mississippi, West Virginia, North Dakota, and Iowa are all without NFL teams. One would think states that have NFL teams would be more interested in video games based on the company, but that's clearly not the case.

The states that had the least amount of interest in Madden NFL 23, according to Minesweeper-Challenge's data, were Oregon, California, Vermont, and New York, in that order. While Oregon and Vermont do not have NFL teams, California has a whopping three teams and New York has two teams, so it is surprising that they ranked so low when it comes to interest in Madden NFL 23.
