Valve has unveiled the dates for its latest Steam Next Fest, which will be taking place in the final week of February. Like previous events on Steam, the Next Fest is a digital showcase of upcoming games on the platform, particularly those from indie developers.
Valve has held a number of different indie game festivals on Steam, and most of them follow the same formula. For a limited time, Steam features countless demos of new or upcoming games from across the platform. These are accompanied by official livestreams from the games' developers, giving players an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about games that pique their interest. Some of these events are themed around a specific genre, such as strategy games or adventure games. Others, like the Steam Next Fest that was held last October, are more general and involve all kinds of titles in their crop of demos.

In a brief announcement, Valve has revealed that Steam Next Fest is coming back to the platform and will be happening again at the end of this month. The celebration of upcoming games is scheduled to start on February 21 and will last for seven days until February 28 at 10AM Pacific. Like its predecessor, the digital event will include hundreds of free demos for new releases and future releases, most of which are indie titles. Developers will be streaming throughout the week on their respective store pages, playing their games and answering questions from the community.
