A fan-made website dedicated to the Steam Deck helps upcoming owners of the new handheld console by compiling which games on Steam have been marked as verified, playable, or unsupported for the device. Valve announced its Steam Deck Verified system back in October as a way to help people find out which games can be accessed on the new console. Valve is continually reviewing each game in its massive Steam catalog and placing each in one of three categories. However, the Steam app and website currently don't show the category each game is placed in yet.
Originally unveiled back in July of last year with an initial launch date of November, the Steam Deck quickly became one of the most anticipated hardware releases of the year. Unfortunately, the new handheld console from Half-Life developer Valve was eventually delayed to 2022 due to production issues brought about by the ongoing chip shortage that has also affected the production of the PS5 and Xbox Series X. Valve finally confirmed last month that the Steam Deck will officially release in February.

Fan-made website Steam Deck Verified Games by Avery.cafe (via GameSpot) simply pulls data from the SteamDB, another fan-made website and database, to compile the games on Steam that have been marked by the Steam Deck Verified system as either verified, playable, or unsupported. The Steam Deck Verified Games shows the status of the game as well as details on the extent of its compatibility with the Steam Deck if it’s marked as only playable. Users of the website can also search for a specific game to find out its status. As of the time of writing, the website currently has 266 games listed, with 116
