A new mod for Stardew Valley is allowing players to farm on an industrial scale. It has recently been confirmed that a 1.6 update is coming to Stardew Valley. This mod aims to improve support for modders, which should be a boon to the game's creative and industrious community.
Stardew Valley is constantly being reinvigorated by the introduction of new mods. These can vary dramatically in terms of scale, but for the now six-year-old game, mods have undoubtedly become a major part of the its continued lifespan. Without the constant innovations in the community, it is likely that Stardew Valley's fanbase would not be as healthy as it is today. Of course, despite the promise of a future update, creator ConcernedApe has other projects to attend to as well. The game designer is working solo on Haunted Chocolatier, his next game, as well as on a third unnamed title as part of a team. Despite the two games apparently sharing a universe, Haunted Chocolatier is teased to contain boss battles in a dramatic departure from the laid-back farming sim.

Now a new mod is promising to make Stardew Valley's world a little bit bigger itself. Game modder Prism 99, also known as klatuprism on Nexus Mods (via PCGamesN), has recently released the 'Stardew Realty' mod, which works to dramatically increase the size of a player's farm. The mod allows players to gain up to ten extra plots of land, which are accessible through the Backwoods. It should be noted, however, that Prism 99 has also added a word of caution, saying that the actual number of viable land expansions may be affected by the processing power of one's computer.
