After a couple of months of consistent updates for , ConcernedApe has released yet another patch that adjusts the game and while it may not be massive in terms of content, it should make a particular kind of farmer very happy. While the farming RPG may be nearly a decade old, it continues to be one of the best-supported video games in recent memory as its creator continues to listen to the community's feedback. The recent 1.6 Update was one of the biggest expansions to date, so it stands to reason that some bugs need to be squashed.
Posted to the website, the patch notes will be of interest to those players who like to keep bees given that the headline change sees bee houses working with flowers that have been planted in garden pots. Previous versions of the game required flowers to be planted directly into the soil if users wanted them to work with nearby hives so farmers who like to maintain a clean aesthetic with their garden are now in luck. Additional changes include the ability to turn the gold clock on and off and 50% Mastery XP now only applies to Farming.
The bulk of the 1.6.6 Patch focuses on eliminating bugs that may have been introduced by the previous 1.6 Update, including a common problem that saw Mr. Raccoon disappear in a cutscene during a multiplayer game. Another frustrating issue that was fixed was the Skull Cavern chest only producing a single Omni Geode, a glitch that frustrated many players given the dungeon's severe difficulty and the lackluster reward. Island outfits should now also correctly load for farmhands and a bug that made an area inaccessible in the Volcano Dungeon has been corrected.
One of the more substantial tweaks will be great news for modders as the 1.6.6 Patch has introduced two new fields into the game: CanBeGivenAsGift and CanBeTrashed. These will allow creators to assign different items to the ability to act as a present or to be thrown away, which should hopefully result in some fun mods and interactions. The modding
