Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy's Edge Enhanced Edition has been announced, and it is coming to the PS VR2 in 2023. The upcoming game for Sony's new VR headset is a remake of 2020's Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy's Edge, which brought an immersive experience set in the Star Wars universe to fans. Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy's Edge doesn't feature an epic clash of Sith versus Jedi, but instead gives players the experience of being a droid repair technician who is swept up into an adventure.
Following a crash landing on their home planet, the player is brought into the fold of a classic space-faring tale, meeting old favorite Star Wars characters like Yoda, C-3PO, and R2-D2.As well as the main story, there are other narratives for the player to explore in Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy's Edge Enhanced Edition, through the Azumel bartender, who can transport fans to take on the roles of Jedi and bounty hunters.

Announced at yesterday's PlayStation State of Play, Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy's Edge Enhanced Edition comes with a lot of new features taking advantage of the advanced technology in the PS VR2. From a statement provided by Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy's Edge Enhanced Edition's developer ILMxLAB, players will benefit from eye-tracking cameras following their line of sight and advanced foveated rendering techniques will also improve the visual quality of the experience.
