Cal Kestis’ lightsaber from Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has now been made real at Disney’s parks, and fans can soon buy their very own official version. Disney originally announced the lightsaber last year, although it was slated for release in the fall of 2021, around the two-year anniversary of Jedi: Fallen Order'srelease.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was originally released back in November 2019 and is the latest game in the franchise from publisher EA, and the first from Titanfall and Apex Legends developer Respawn Entertainment. It then received a free next-gen upgrade for the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in July of last year, which introduced several improvements including faster loading times, enhanced 60fps performance, support for 4K and HDR, as well as higher resolution textures. The third-person action-adventure game has been received quite well and has proven to be enough of a success that a sequel is currently in the works. It’s also been recently rumored that Jedi: Fallen Order 2 will be revealed soon.
