With the Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl release date now set for 2023, one of the most anticipated upcoming Xbox Series X games is almost within reach. Now, unless you had a high-powered PC back in 2007, you might be wondering what all the fuss is about. The Stalker 2 release date is set for 2023. GSC Game World is yet to put a firm date on it just yet, following a series of delays caused by the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The war has impacted production of Stalker 2, so we expect the game to remain TBC 2023 until GSC feels confident it can hit a firm delivery date for PC and Xbox Series X.

The Stalker 2 platforms have been confirmed for PC and Xbox Series X. While the series has traditionally been PC only, GSC Game World is shooting for a simultaneous release across the two platforms. The studio says that it is "doing our best to ensure an equal level of game experience and immersion, regardless of the gaming platform."
