The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released an official notification for Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination (CHSL) 2021-22 on February 1, 2022. The application window has been activated for the same on the official portal of SSC at ssc.nic.in. Interested and eligible candidates can apply on or before March 7, 2022. The SSC CHSL exam is conducted to fill up various posts like lower divisional clerk/ junior secretariat assistant, postal assistant/ sorting assistant and data entry operators for various ministries/ departments/ offices of the government of India. 1. Those applying for LDC/ JSA, PA/ SA, DEO (except DEOs in C&AG) must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
2. For Data Entry Operator (DEO Grade ‘A’) in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG), candidates must have passed class 12th in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.
3. The age limit for the posts is 18 to 27 years as on January 1, 2022, which means candidates born before 02-01-1995 and after 01-01-2004 are not eligible to apply.
Candidates applying for SSC CHSL 2021 exam will be required to pay an application fee of Rs. 100. Women candidates, and those who belong to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) are exempted from payment of fee.
