Splatoon 3's story mode is the best way for new players to hone their skills before taking their skills online. One of the best campaigns in the entire series, Splatoon 3 changes up the formula by allowing players to skip bosses or even entire levels.

Doing these skips may be useful for those just looking to finish the story. However, there is a bonus for those brave enough to stick with the old-fashioned linear path.
As mentioned above, many levels and boss fights can be avoided completely in Splatoon 3's story mode. Doing this may be fine for some, but for completionists and Splatoon beginners, it would be wise to see all there is on offer.
Seeing through everything the campaign has to offer will be no easy task as levels can be quite tricky to beat. Each level has its own unique challenge and a variety of weapons to test out.
Don't be afraid to restart a level to pick a weapon that feels more comfortable to use.
Once players have completed every level in the Splatoon 3 story mode, a message will pop up saying a special kettle has appeared. Head to the first area of the campaign to find this new kettle.
Just behind where players spawn, the kettle is sitting atop a small island. Turn 180 degrees from the starting point to see the kettle. Blast the top to open it, and head inside to play the bonus stage After Alterna. This stage is the hardest challenge in the game and will take every ounce of even the best Splatoon player's skill set to beat.
Alterna is a huge area filled with challenging platforming and hordes of enemies to dispose of. Word of warning: each death in After Alterna will not cost the usual 20 to 50 power eggs to continue, the price here is far higher.
