The combat in Soul Hackers 2 is visually and strategically satisfying. A true turn-based affair, players will have access to a variety of menus that allow them to pick through an array of skills, attacks, buffs, and other commands. During the opening hours of the game, combat is pretty simplistic, with players usually only choosing certain attacks or skills to do damage and keep themselves healed. Things change once the tutorial is over and Ringo has a full party. Players are free to unlock skills, recruit demons, and mix-and-match abilities to build their team as they see fit.
