If you want to know when PlayStation VR2 headset pre-orders go live, Sony just launched a website you'll want to visit.
Sony revealed the PlayStation VR2 headset and Sense controller last month, and now that reveal has been followed up with the launch of an official website focused on the next-gen VR experience.
The website contains no new information beyond what was already revealed in January. Instead, it reminds us we're getting a VR headset capable of 4K HDR visuals and a 110-degree field of view thanks to the performance offered by the PS5 (which is connected via a single cable). That's combined with a new level of tracking, both for your eyes and your overall movement using four cameras embedded in the headset. Add to that headset vibrations for feedback, Tempest 3D AudioTech for immersive sound, and the new Sense controller.
We already know an exclusive game is being developed to demonstrate how good VR2 is. Horizon Call of the Mountain will hopefully launch alongside the VR headset, but we don't know when Sony plans to release the hardware yet. The good news is, at the bottom of this new website it's possible to log in using your PlayStation Network account and sign up to be informed when VR2 pre-orders go live.
