According to an official Square Enix broadcast, a PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 demo for Babylon’s Fall will be available on February 25. Japanese studio PlatinumGames Inc. and Square Enix jointly developed the acclaimed Nier: Automata and their signature combat style is a big draw for the new multiplayer action RPG.
The demo will showcase the tutorial mode, as well as both the solo and cooperative play, which will allow up to four people to play through the game together. What’s more, the save file for the demo can be carried over to the full game when it releases on March 3. Early access for the game is expected to continue through February 28 until release for those who reserved the Digital Deluxe Edition and Collector’s Edition, according to a full translation of the streaming event.
Similar to other games that provide ongoing content, the live service game will be updated on a seasonal basis and will offer a paid “Premium Battle Pass” that can be used to earn exclusive in-game content. A battle pass called “Eternal Giant Tower” will be among the free content offered in season 1. We have to double check our calendars, but we think our schedule for February 25 might already be jam packed, and a game rhyming with ‘shmelden bring’ may or may not be the culprit.
