Sony Interactive Entertainment has released a pair of PlayStation VR2 teardown videos, which are viewable below.
In the videos, PlayStation VR2 hardware engineers Takamasa Araki and Takeshi Igarashi provide a detailed look at the internal structure and design philosophy behind the upcoming PS5 headset and its Sense controllers.
Earlier this month, Sony published a PlayStation VR2 guide providing in-depth details on the hardware, its games and more.

PlayStation VR2 will launch on February 22 and will be priced at $549.99 / €599.99 / £529.99. For this, players get the PS VR2 headset, the PS VR2 Sense controllers and stereo headphones.
There’s also a $599.99 / €649.99 / £569.99 bundle which includes a PlayStation Store voucher code for launch title Horizon: Call of the Mountain.
Sony confirmed last month that the PlayStation VR2 launch window line-up would consist of 37 games, including a VR version of Gran Turismo 7 available on day one.
Bloomberg sources recently claimed that Sony had halved its launch projections for PlayStation VR2 following disappointing pre-order numbers.
They claimed Sony’s shipment forecasts were cut from two million to one million units this quarter. In response, Sony issued a statement claiming it has “not cut PlayStation VR2 production numbers”.
