Early 2023 is shaping up to be a rather spectacular time for games, but I may not have said as much just a couple months ago. During that brief amount of time, multiple games were delayed out of 2022. And today, friends, I bring news of another. Sons of the Forest, the follow up to horror crafting-survival game The Forest, has been delayed once more. However, much like with Hogwarts Legacy, it comes alongside some better news. Sons of the Forest now has a set release date and a price point.
Developer Endnight Games brought the delay to our attention via Twitter today. Sons of the Forest, which has already been delayed twice, now has a February 23, 2023 release date. Indeed, another February baby. Alongside the news, the developer also included a bit of gameplay footage.
“Due to the scope of our new game Sons Of The Forest, it has been hard to pinpoint an exact release date, and today we have to delay one last time,” Endnight Games wrote in its tweet. “Giving us time to complete the polish we feel is needed, we will release Feb 23, 2023, priced at $29.99USD.”
