A Call of Duty Warzone bug which causes some Operator skins to turn invisible has reared its head again.
Previously, the Awoken skin for Operator Francis, which is unlocked at level 100 of the Season 1 Battle Pass, was suffering from a bug that turned the wearer invisible at certain distances.
The issue was patched out of the game last week but has since reared its head again when certain other skins are worn.
As seen in the video below, the skin wearer’s floating head and guns can be seen, and their invisible body can be shot, but it makes the whole process much more challenging.
“We are aware of the reports that certain skins are appearing invisible in Warzone,” Raven has said. “Please standby while we investigate this issue.”
Raven’s work has been disrupted by ongoing strike action over the past month, following the unexpected announcement of plans to downsize its quality assurance department.
This week, Raven’s QA team and other Activision Blizzard employees commenced a fourth week of strikes in protest of plans to terminate the contracts of 12 QA workers on January 28.

The layoffs will reduce Raven’s QA team of 40 staff, which mainly works on Warzone, by just over 30%, according to those staging the strikes.
It’s claimed the affected staff were let go in “good standing”, meaning they hadn’t underperformed or committed any sackable offenses, and that the dismissals were announced at a time when Warzone was earning $5.2 million daily.
