Season 13 of Apex Legends, known as Saviors, has already been out for over a month. And while fans of the battle royale have enjoyed many aspects of the new season, such as the latest Legend Newcastle, there are some areas of the game that players want to see changed. Specifically, some Apex Legends players are unhappy with the matchmaking for Ranked in Season 13.
At the start of the new season, the developers at Respawn Entertainment implemented a series of changes for the Ranked system in Apex Legends that placed more of an emphasis on placement compared to early game kills. Called Ranked Reloaded, it also introduced tier demotions for lower-level ranks such as Gold and Silver. However, these changes have not come without controversy, and some claim that they are being matched against unequally skilled opponents.
Apex Legends Leak Hints at Possible New Legend Classes Being Added to the Game
Recently, a gamer known as Pwn_sauce shared a clip from their recent time playing Apex Legends. In this video, the player recorded an encounter that their squad had with a team composed of Apex Predators that also happened to be professional players. The names of these pros were Mark “Dropped” Thees, Joseph “Frexs” Sanchez, and Ryan “Reptar” Boyd. By posting the clip, Pwn_sauce hoped to show that the matchmaking system for the game could use some work.
The action took place at the new POI on Storm Point, known as Downed Beast.
