Skyrim Player Captures Bizarre Interaction Between a Dragon and a Giant
A video where a player captured an incredible moment between one of The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim’s fearsome dragons and a deadly giant proved, once again, that Skyrim may still be a bit glitchy after all these years, but that’s just a part of its charm. The video shows that the two creatures would make a frightening duo if that’s what Bethesda intended, instead of the result of a very cool glitch that the player was lucky to record.
Skyrim's dragons were a focal point of the now-legendary game’s pre-release advertising. Once the arrival of the dragon Alduin kicks off the game’s opening moments in dramatic style, a number of dragons can be encountered and fought while exploring the massive open world. Giants, on the other hand, don’t play a role in the game’s larger narrative, but still make for a challenging fight if the player gets a little too close to their camps. Many a low-level Dragonborn has been smashed to paste by one swift blow by a giant’s club.
Skyrim Player One Shots Legendary Dragon
The glitch in question, captured by Skyrim subreddit user SebastianChantre, combines the two frightening enemies into an epic sight. The seemingly new class of enemy is one of Skyrim's fire-breathing dragons with a club-wielding giant riding on its back. In the post title, SebastianChantre claims that they’ve played well over 1,000 hours of Skyrim, yet this grim vision of death is easily the craziest thing they’ve ever seen.
