A Skyrim player has come across an instance in which it seems the tenacious courier has decided to put a hit out on the Dragonborn. Given that it's a game with an expansive and immersive open-world, it's only natural for the protagonist to happen upon many dangerous elements, from bandits to wild animals to soaring dragons to perilous cliff edges. The note does state that the would-be assassin does not necessarily need to kill the player, called Fred in this playthrough, but death is an option should it become a requirement. It's a letter similar to one that many players have likely come across, though it's usually not one that seems to have been issued by the courier himself.
