A new roadmap for The Sims 4 has been released by developer EA, confirming the upcoming release of a new Game Pack and two Kits, while also seemingly teasing the introduction of werewolves. A host of DLC content for The Sims 4 has been released since the game came out in 2014, with over 40 paid expansions of various sizes available for the title. The game is one of the most successful simulation games of all time, selling over 36 million copies since its release.
Every game in the Sims series has received some amount of DLC, and The Sims 4 has received the most of any entry so far. DLC for the game varies in size and price, with Expansion Packs offering the most content, followed by Game Packs, Stuff Packs, and Kits in descending order. Expansion Packs offer players an entire new in-game world and a host of new activities with a broad theme, and Game Packs offer something similar to a smaller degree, sometimes including a new world and focusing around one specific type of activity or new type of playable Sim. Both Stuff Packs and Kits are item-based, including new furniture and clothing based around a theme like plants or knitting.

A mysterious new video released on The Sims Twitter page teases the next two months of content for the game, announcing one new Game Pack and two upcoming Kits with a night-time theme. The EA website expands on the video, listing the titles of the DLC: the Game Pack is entitled "Go Wild," and the two Kits will be called "Cozy Nights In" and "Chic Nights Out." The overall description reads:
