Christophe Gans, the director of the first Silent Hill movie, says that multiple games are in development. Despite the rumors of Silent Hill projects of recent years, this is one source that fans may want to pay attention to.

Where there's smoke there's fire, as it was recently confirmed that a Silent Hill game was rated in South Korea. Even though this mysterious new Silent Hill game has been kept close to the chest in terms of any kind of tease or announcement, it does imply an upcomingSIlent Hill release, which is a reason to be excited for fans of the franchise. It was at first suspected to be a mobile game, but according to Gemantsu it is actually a console game titled Silent Hill: The Short Message, reportedly published by Uniana. Fans may want to keep their eyes and ears open for anything official in the months to come, especially if recent comments by the director of the first Silent Hill movie has anything to say about it.

A French interview with Christophe Gans shows the director opening up about not just one, but multiple Silent Hill projects in development. This is certainly a heavy tank of fuel to the fire that is the ongoing Silent HIll rumor mill, consisting of multiple Silent Hill projects in development, including not only the recently rated game but also classic Silent Hill games returning to Steam.
