Michael "Shroud" Grzesiek admitted on his stream that he thought Felix "xQc" should have won 'Streamer of the Year.'
During a recent livestream on Twitch, Shroud shared his thoughts on who he thought deserved to win the award at the recent Streamer Awards event. He told his viewers that he was surprised that Ludwig Ahgren took home the title ahead of xQc, who had a big year in terms of numbers for a streamer.
The streamer had his say on who he thought would be picked as the Streamer of the Year. He expressed his shock after learning that xQc did not win the title after the amazing year the French-Candian streamer had on Twitch.
However, the streamer was quick to point out that Ludwig himself had a great year of streaming. He told his viewers how he thought Ludwig had been a great contender for the award but admitted that he thought xQc would've won it. He said:
Shroud was spot on with his assessment of the two streamers. Both xQc and Ludwig have had a wonderful streaming experience over the past year. As of writing this article, Lengyel currently sits on over 79k active followers. The streamer hit an all-time high in January 2022 where he had over 96k active followers on his Twitch channel.
Ludwig, on the other hand, made use of the platform to create milestones and memorable events. The biggest one being his massive "subathon" that he had in March 2021. Ahgren's subathon started on March 14, 2021, and ran for over 30 days, having finally ended on April 13, 2021.
Ahgren also set the record for all-time concurrent active followers on the platform when he ended the subathon with a total of over 283k followers. Ahgren then left Twitch after a few months and signed a deal with YouTube where he streamed for the rest of the year,
