Even with Summer Game Fest having officially finished, it seems the month of June could still have some big gaming reveals left in it. Nintendo recently announced that it would be putting on a Nintendo Direct in June, solely focusing on the upcoming Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and it seems the company is not alone in leaving some of its reveals and updates for later in the month. Sega has recently revealed that it will be sharing something new, possibly a new game announcement, as part of IGN's Summer of Gaming.
Sega already held a games showcase earlier in June, with Sonic Central giving fans updates on the controversial Sonic Frontiers and Sonic Origins, a game that features remasters of the first four platform games of the franchise. Even with a lot of Sonic news going around and with both of the previously listed titles scheduled for release this year, it wouldn't be entirely out of the question to assume that Sega isn't done with its major announcements.

However, it seems that the publisher still has another reveal on the way. As part of IGN's Summer of Gaming event, a «world premiere exclusive» will be presented by Sega at 10 AM PT on June 22. Sega hasn't come forward to say what game this will be about, and instead IGN's Twitter has given fans the only crumb of information they currently have, which stems from an eight-second audio clip with what could be the sound of a wild bird or perhaps a sea creature.
Some fans believe that the audio in the clip sounds like the noises of a seagull or even a dolphin, perhaps pointing to a remake of Ecco the Dolphin. Others are of the mind that the reveal will simply be more about Sonic Frontiers or perhaps another Sonic
