This year's Pokemon Presents happened earlier today and while there were a lot of things fans hoped they would see missing, there was still plenty of other stuff to look forward to. The big reveal at the end of the presentation, for example, that confirmed Scarlet & Violet will be getting some pretty extensive DLC. A two-parter that will apparently introduce 230 pre-existing Pokemon to Paldea.
That's according to Centro Leaks, a Twitter account that has been pretty accurate when it comes to revealing information about Pokemon games ahead of time. It hasn't provided an exhaustive list of which Pokemon will be added to the games via the DLC, but the implication is the selection included in the attached image will be introduced to Scarlet & Violet before the end of 2023.

Only six of the 230 Pokemon have made it onto the image which includes Dewgong, Metagross, and Zebstrika. If Centro is correct and Scarlet & Violet really will bring 230 older Pokemon into the games, that will presumably expand its Pokedex to 634. That's the 400 already in the games, the 230 returning Pokemon, and four brand new Pokemon, one of which is legendary.
Scarlet & Violet's DLC is called The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero and will be split into two parts. Part one, which is called The Teal Mask will launch in the fall. That will be followed by The Indigo Disk this winter, so two parts both dropping before the end of 2023 if all goes to plan. That also suggests there won't be a surprise couple of games launching in time for the holiday season as the DLC will occupy that part of the 2023 Pokemon calendar.
