Samsung's soon-to-be-launched Galaxy S22 series will be spearheaded by the Galaxy S22 Ultra. The device is expected to take over from the Galaxy Note series as the company's stylus-totting phablet. Several leaks and rumors over the past few months have revealed quite a bit about the upcoming flagship, including much of its design, features and hardware specs.
Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S22 lineup at its upcoming 'Unpacked' event on February 9. This year, the company is expected to announce three handsets as part of the Galaxy S22 series, including the Galaxy S22, S22+, and the S22 Ultra. They will all have refreshed designs, upgraded cameras and powerful processors, but the S22 Ultra promises to be the crown jewel of the lineup.

Most of the critical specs of the Galaxy S22 Ultra, and the design, leaked last week in an apparent official video that was originally shared by tipster Dohyun Kim on Twitter before being taken down for alleged copyright violation. The video seemed to confirm some of the rumored specs, including a 6.8-inch QHD AMOLED display and a total of five camera sensors, including a quad-camera setup on the back and a 40-megapixel front-facing selfie camera. The rear-camera setup is expected to include a 108-megapixel main sensor, a 12-megapixel ultrawide shooter, a 10-megapixel snapper with 3x telephoto lens, and a 10-megapixel camera with 10x telephoto zoom. The phone is also widely expected to be the first-ever Galaxy S-series device to ship with an in-box S Pen stylus and a built-in S Pen slot like Galaxy Note devices.
