It is that time of the year when Samsung comes up with massive generational upgrades for its S and A series phones. With rumours of a new Galaxy A53 around, Samsung India has reportedly started lowering prices on the current model. The Galaxy A52s 5G, which launched in August 2021, is reportedly enjoying a massive price cut when bought from brick-and-mortar stores. A price cut of Rs. 5,000 is said to be offered on the Galaxy A52s 5G.
This information comes via a report from 91Mobiles, suggesting that several Samsung stores in the offline market have slashed prices of the Galaxy A52s 5G by of Rs. 5,000. This makes it substantially more affordable and a much better deal than ever. The base version with 6GB RAM of the Galaxy A52s 5G originally sold at ₹35,999 but with the price cut, it is now down to Rs. 30,999. The 8GB RAM variant is down to Rs. 32,499 from the previous Rs. 37,499.
Note that Samsung India hasn’t confirmed these price cuts officially. Additionally, the online stores continue to sell the Galaxy A52s 5G at older prices.
At its new starting price of Rs. 30,999, the phone directly competes with Samsung’s ow Galaxy M52 5G, which itself is a watered-down variant of the A52s 5G. Additionally, Galaxy A52s 5G also comes as an alternative to phones such as Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge, Motorola Edge 20, Realme GT Master Edition, Oppo Reno 6, and Vivo V23 5G.
