Samsung is set to host its second biggest launch event of the year wherein we will be seeing the next-gen Galaxy Z foldables. The Galaxy Z Flip 4 has already been confirmed by the teasers whereas the rumours also suggest a newer and bigger Galaxy Z Fold 4 coming to the market. The Galaxy Unpacked event will be held on August 10 starting at a time of 6:30 PM IST. Ahead of that, Samsung is set to begin the pre-reserve for these smartphones.
Starting July 31, 2022, interested consumers will be able to pre-reserve the next-gen Galaxy Z foldables smartphones by paying a token amount of Rs. 1,999 on Samsung.com and Samsung Exclusive Stores. Those customers who pre-reserve these Galaxy smartphones will get an additional benefit worth Rs. 5,000 after the devices are delivered. Samsung is yet to hint on the prices of these devices.
The official teaser from Samsung shows the same kind of design and side profile as the Galaxy Z Flip 3. Leaked renders have also confirmed the same, suggesting a largely similar design as well as the same kind of colours. The phone is expected to have a lighter crease this year. Leaks have also suggested the specs on the Galaxy Z Flip 4, which is expected to have a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, a 6.7-inch flexible AMOLED display, and a larger 3700mAh battery. None of that is confirmed though.
Alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 4, Samsung is also expected to announce the Galaxy Z Fold 4. The Fold 4 is expected to have a conventional aspect ratio for its Cover Display, which means the phone could be wider than the outgoing model.
