Peacock has released the Rutherford Falls season 2 trailer, which hints at new challenges for Nathan and Reagan. The series was created by Ed Helms, Sierra Teller Ornelas, and Michael Schur. Schur is best known for creating or co-creating comedy hits like Parks and Recreation, The Good Place, and the recently concluded Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Helms and Jana Schmieding lead the cast as Nathan Rutherford and Reagan Wells, best friends whose relationship is tested by their town's removal of a statue of one of Nathan's ancestors. Rutherford Falls season 1 ended with Nathan trying to find himself outside of the town while Reagan attempts to establish her place at the Minishonka cultural center, setting the stage for season 2.
