Rust: Trainyard Puzzle Guide (Walkthrough & Rewards)
The Trainyard is a Monument in Rust where survivors can find a substantial amount of Scrap, crafting components, consumable supplies, weaponry, and even a Red Keycard. Additionally, the Monument features approximately twenty-five crates that can potentially spawn within its vicinity. These crates include basic boxes and high-tier military containers, which can contain a variety of loot, depending on the item spawn. In addition, Rust players can potentially collect even more loot by scavenging food and medical boxes scattered about the area, including metal barrels.
It is possible to loot the Trainyard in Rust without completing the Monument's puzzle, yet those aiming to maximize their haul should follow several steps in preparation. First, survivors need to procure an Electric Fuse required to solve the Trainyard's puzzle and unlock the central loot rooms. Electric fuses are items that can be randomly found in an assortment of crates and barrels throughout the open world. Fuses can also be potentially dropped by hostile Scientists that spawn around the map.

Next, Rust fans will need a Blue Keycard and Green Keycard to access the Trainyard's interior enclosures that hold the best loot. Blue Keycards can be found within Monuments such as the Sewer Branch, Satellite Dish, and Harbor. They can also be purchased from the Outpost in Rust for Scrap ×100. On the other hand, Green Keycards primarily spawn in the Lighthouse, Oxum's Gas Station, Abandoned Supermarket, and Junkyard. It is also possible for Scientists to drop these cards as loot.
