Robot justice is about to be served in Fortnite, with RoboCop being added to its roster. That’s right, you can now suit up as the '80s action icon to take down other players with the precision only a half-man half-machine can offer. Plus, for fans of the original film, RoboCop’s arrival also introduces ED-209 to the fray through special emotes and accessories.
Epic Games’ chief creative officer Donald Mustard took to Twitter to share a short introduction video for the newly added action star and their excitement for the skin. The 28-second video plays out like the trailer for an '80s action film, complete with gunfights, explosions, and slow-motion sequences. It shows off RoboCop in action as he shoots his way through a city. Along with the video, Mustard wrote that “some of these just hit a little more ‘I can’t believe that thing we so dreamed and schemed of actually happened’!”

Along with RoboCop, players can nab a mini ED-209 emote. This allows players to ride on a scaled-down version of one of the film’s robot antagonists. And don’t worry, unlike its film counterpart, this machine works on stairs. Along with the emote, a larger ED-209 leg can be used as a backbling and pickaxe for RoboCop. Both RoboCop and the ED-209 accessories are available now in the item shop. However, as with most special skins, it will not be around for very long.
