Those who enjoy laughing at Sonja Morgan on The Real Housewives of New York will be delighted to learn this fan-favorite is taking her jokes on the road. Morgan is a long-time member of the RHONY cast as one of the most beloved housewives with a seize the day lifestyle and attitude. Morgan made her RHONY debut in 2010 during the Bravo series’ third season and has continued through the most recent 13th season that premiered in the summer of 2021.
While RHONY has often been a forerunner in popularity for the Real Housewives franchise, the 13th season was particularly difficult for viewers. Despite the series’ tradition of having a reunion with all the housewives discussing the show, the latest season’s reunion was canceled due to scheduling issues. Season 13 of RHONY struggled partially because filming occurred during the height of the pandemic. Viewers also took issue with how some castmates fought over racial tensions in America occurring around the same time. Regardless of plummeting views and chaotic clashes, Morgan exited the latest season unscathed as she continues pursuits outside of the Bravo series.

According to Variety, Morgan’s latest adventure will be pursuing a comedy career. The RHONY star has been signed by United Talent Agency for a nine-city comedy tour. Morgan’s new show “Sonja in Your City” is scheduled to begin this Spring, with ticketing on sale on March 8. The show isn’t the first time Morgan has graced the stage, she’s performed during many of the more theatric episodes of RHONY. While Morgan might be no stranger to putting on a show, the nine-city tour will be one of Morgan’s most ambitious opportunities yet.
