The original script for Obi-Wan Kenobi included Reva dying in the end at Darth Vader's hand. Ewan McGregor's return to Star Wars came with plenty of new revelations about the franchise's established canon. Not only did the Disney+ series feature two rematches between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader, but it also showed Kenobi help save a young Leia Organa and encounter the Inquisitors.
