As well as the 100 Trivia Cards that players can find and answer as they make their way through the game, Return to Monkey Island has a few more collectible sets of sorts. These include six skulls that are dotted around the game's titular island, as well as five copies of a rare book called At the End of the Plank, the latter of which must be found in order for players to unlock the Bookworm achievement.

Unlike the skulls and the cards though, players don't actually need to collect these purple books, with the Bookworm achievement simply requiring players to find and examine them. Only the first two can be found during Part 1 of Return to Monkey Island, but all five are available later on in Part 4, so players may want to wait until then before beginning their hunt.

Players will be able to find their first copy of At the End of the Plank on the windowsill of the locksmith shop on the Melee Island High Street. Players will first be able to visit this location during Part 1 of Return to Monkey Island, but will have another chance to do so during Part 4 if they fail to examine the book the first time around.

Players can find another copy of At the End of the Plank on the bookshelf in the Governor's Mansion on Melee Island at any point during Part 1 or Part 4. It's the only one of Carla's books with a purple cover, making it very easy for players to spot.

The third copy of At the End of the Plank is in the fish shop on Melee Island's High Street on a shelf beneath where players find one of Bella Fisher's flag. As the fish shop isn't open during Part 1 of Return to Monkey Island, players will need to examine the book during Part 4 instead.
