With Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City hitting digital stores today, those of have already seen the film are able to get a closer look at all the Easter eggs. From different colored herbs to certain clothing the characters wear, watching the movie can feel like you're playing a game of Eye Spy for fans of the video game franchise.
In a new video, a few members of the cast of Welcome to Raccoon City discuss some of the Easter eggs, which you may have missed while watching the movie. There are even some hidden images from the games themselves. In one scene, you see Leon Kennedy passed out in the police station. «There's a typewriter beside him, » explained actor Avan Jogia. «Most people who don't know the games would be like, 'Why is there a typewriter there?' But if you know the games, I think you'll really appreciate them.»

Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City is available digitally right now at places like Vudu, Apple, or others. It arrives on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD on February 8--and there's a limited edition 4K steelbook as well.
Included in the release is 20 minutes of new featurettes exploring the world of Resident Evil and adapting the first two games for the big screen. The titles of the featurettes are «Replicating the DNA,» «Cops, Corpses, and Chaos,» and «Zombies, Lickers, and the Horrors of Resident Evil.»
