Iron Gate AB released popular Viking survival game Valheim in early access last year and fans continue to discover hidden details, ideal building methods, and different techniques for defeating the various bosses. The developer has confirmed an update that has added more things to the game including frost caves, controller support, and more.
The Steam page for Valheim has been altered in order to reflect changes made to the public test client with patch 0.207.15. Iron Gate AB has confirmed that the changes are being made to the public test branch of Valheim so that the team can fix any lingering bugs, stability issues, or balance things better. The update forces a fresh location generation for players that will cause minimally longer load times for the initial load, and it may move some boss locations.

Valheim players have encountered the werewolf-like Fenrings near the Mountain biome at night since the game was released, causing many deaths in the snowy region. With the addition of Frost Caves in patch 0.207.15, Valheim fans will be able to target the dangerous beasts by exploring the new type of cave which will spawn in unexplored areas of the map. Like other dungeons in Valheim, Frost Caves will provide more challenge as well as a plethora of loot, and a place to practice combat skills against mighty foes.
One of the primary reasons Valheim has been updated to support controllers is the upcoming release of the Steam Deck.
