Warning! Spoilers for Resident Evil season 1
Resident Evil star Ella Balinska talks about how her character Jade will face larger consequences for her actions in the show's second season. Along with Balinska, the series stars Lance Reddick, Tamara Smart, Adeline Rudolph, Siena Agudong, Paola Nunez, and Mpho Osei Tutu. Netflix released the eight-episode first season on July 14 with no current word on a second season renewal.
Resident Evil is told across two timelines. One followsa young Jade and her twin sister Billie (Agudong) as they investigate the Umbrella Corporation and their development of the T-virus, which eventually causes the zombie apocalypse. The second timeline focuses on an older Jade as she deals with the aftermath. The season 1 finale sees the death of Simon (Connor Gosatti), Jade's love interest, hinting at a major change for her character. Resident Evil season 2 would likely continue both timelines, allowing Balinska to explore the development of Jade further.
