We recently reported that Sony and retailers were pulling PlayStation Plus subscription cards from stores after the services revamp. However, brand-new cards have now been spotted out in the wild!
As spotted by Push Square (via Eurogamer), these new cards aren't quite the same as the old ones. Before, you'd just buy a one, three, or 12-month PS Plus card - simple. Now, you'll buy cards with a specific amount of PS Plus credit on them - less simple.

It's not as clean a solution as we had before, but given the new tiered system, it sort of makes sense. Rather than having three tiers of cards with one, three, and 12-month subscriptions on them, all at different prices, you just buy the card for the number it says on it.
In the UK, that's £84 for one year of the Extra tier, and $110 in the US, where these new rebranded cards have also been spotted. You can, of course, just buy the subscription yourself on your PlayStation or computer, but this makes it a little trickier to know exactly what someone is buying for a friend or relative they want to give a gift to.
Now that the new PS Plus service has been rolled out in many territories over the world, we've had a chance to get a good look at the games on offer. After a bit of a slow start, people are now happy with the large number of titles available with the highest tiers.
It's not all good news, however. PS Plus Premium has actually removed a few games from Europe that used to be available via PS Now. These titles have been made exclusive to the US for some reason.
