Redfall Trailer Details Story, Major Villains, and Much More
Bethesda Softworks and Arkane Studios have released a new trailer for Redfall, providing more details on the story. Before the titular town was overcome by darkness, a company called Aevum Laboratories was researching a “miracle cure” of sorts. It involved blood from a special subject, which the elite used to become vampires.
As their influence spread through the town, people went missing while cults took root. It wasn’t long before the sun went out and left the survivors trapped. Some vampires are considered gods, like The Hollow Man, Bloody Tom, Ms Whisper and The Black Sun. There will be “thousands and thousands” of lines of readables to collect, so expect to learn more about them.
Playing as one of four survivors with powerful abilities, the player sets out to retake Redfall. Battling the vampires head-on with firearms and special tools like stakes is only part of the solution. Eventually, they must fight against the so-called gods.
Redfall is out on May 2nd for Xbox Series X/S, PC and Game Pass. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks, especially with a hands-on media event is happening this month.
