The limbless wonder is finally back! As revealed during the Ubisoft Forward showcase, Rayman is joining Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope as part of its third DLC pack.
Ubisoft is currently holding its first Ubisoft Forward presentation of the year and one of the first games that it showed off was Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope. After a gameplay showcase that featured Mario and the gang fighting a Wiggler that has attached itself to a train, Davide Soliani revealed that three DLC packs are currently planned for the game and its season pass.

Although Sparks of Hope getting DLC is already good news for fans of the first game, Solani revealed that the third DLC pack has a special surprise in the form of a new playable character - Rayman. Solani didn't give any details on any of the moves that Rayman might have or how Rayman has found himself back with the Rabbids, but it's incredibly exciting news for anyone who's been waiting for the vegetable thingamajig to make a comeback.
Alongside announcing Rayman as a playable character, Solani also debuted a brief trailer showing him off for the first time. Well, it only showed off the top of his eyes and his hair, but it's close enough considering it's nearly been a decade since the last game. The trailer showed a row of Rabbids, including Rabbid Mario and Rabbid Peach, as well as showing Mario in the lineup, before finally landing on Rayman and displaying his name in the same font as the original game.
From the small look we get at Rayman, it's not quite clear enough to tell whether he'll take on his appearance, or his updated modern look from Hoodlum Havoc onwards, but it's likely to be the
