Call of Duty: Warzone bugs have come in all different forms, ranging from absurd vehicle heath to floating heads. Now, the latest Call of Duty: Warzone bug is impacting parachutes and gliding.
A recent Call of Duty: Warzone patch saw Raven Software making significant adjustments to parachute speeds, which is where the bug comes into play. Gliding and parachuting were reworked once Season 2 dropped, with the main goal of making Operators move slower. While fans have debated over this change, it comes down to personal preference whether it is an improvement or a misstep. Regardless of how players feel about slower gliding, though, the new system is clearly not working as intended.
Call of Duty: Warzone's HP Vote Should Be The First of Many
While every Operator in Call of Duty: Warzone should have the same movement speed when parachuting, this is not actually the case. For whatever reason, a glitch is causing several skins from the Modern Warfare andBlack Ops Cold War eras to move with the original parachute speed of 6.6 as opposed to the updated speed of 10.4. This means that players have a major advantage when using characters like Weaver, Wraith, and Roze, though thankfully Raven Software is aware that this problem exists.
A Tweet from the developer confirms that the issue is being added to the Raven Software Trello board, a page that allows the studio to regularly update players on what bugs are being investigated. If gamers visit the Trello board, they will be able to see where in the investigation process Raven is and whether a fix has been lined up for a future patch.
