Undone graces Amazon Prime Video with its return on April 29, and the second season is even more mind-boggling than the first. Created by BoJack Horseman’s Kate Purdy and Raphael Bob-Waksberg, the metaphysical series was Amazon’s official debut into original adult animation. The second season arrives nearly three years after its September 2019 premiere, but the hype for continuing Alma Winograd-Diaz's (Rosa Salazar, Brand New Cherry Flavor) story has not died down.
Though Alma is the heart of the story, it is her relationship to those around her and the actions she takes because of them that propel the narrative. After a near-death experience, Alma new way of understanding time led her to investigate the truth behind her father Jacob’s (Bob Odenkirk, Better Call Saul) death and her family's history of supposed mental illness. Now in season 2, Alma turns her attentions to her mother Camila (Constance Marie, With Love) and sister Becca (Angelique Cabral, Life In Pieces), neither of whom are as easy to understand as she may have once thought.

The creators spoke to Screen Rant about how season 2 opened up the door to explore the Winograd-Diaz dynamics outside of Alma's perspective on them, especially when it comes to the relationship between Alma and Becca.
Screen Rant: I love how we opened the door into more of Camila's life this season. Raphael, I know that the nature of the show means you didn't really have to have that information last season. But did you, and what changed in the writing of her for this season?
